Education:

• Master of Arts in Kinesiology (Coaching) from Western University. 

• Joined the Western Mustangs men's hockey program as an assistant coach under Barry Martinelli in 1991 while completing his Master of Arts in Kinesiology (Coaching) at Western University.
• Coached in Norway's Elite Series with Trondheim and Fredrikstad from 1994 to 1997.
• Returned to Western as an assistant coach before being promoted to Associate Head Coach for the 1998–99 season.
• Named Head Coach of the Western Mustangs for the 1999–2000 season.
• Has also coached Junior B hockey with the London Diamonds.
• Served as Head Coach of Canada's team at the FISU World University Games in 2005 and 2011, General Manager in 2019, and Assistant Coach in 2023.
• Resides in Ilderton, Ontario, with his wife, Trish, and their children, Paige and Owen.
   

• Led the Mustangs to the 2001–02 CIS National Championship, the 2008–09 CIS National Championship silver medal, and Queen's Cup Championships in 2004–05 and 2008–09.
• Named OUA Coach of the Year seven times (1999–00, 2000–01, 2001–02, 2002–03, 2005–06, 2010–11, and 2011–12).
• Named CIS Coach of the Year and recipient of the Father George Kehoe Memorial Award in 2001–02.
• Guided the Mustangs to seven consecutive OUA Far West Division regular-season titles during his first seven seasons as Head Coach.
