LONDON, Ont. - The Western Mustangs men's and women's volleyball teams will host a volleyball clinic from 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on Sunday Sept. 12 at Thames Hall and Alumni Hall.
The clinic is open to boys and girls between the ages of 10 to 17. The morning will include the fundamentals of volleyball and will break down the game into specific skills sessions. In the afternoon, these individual skills will be brought together and practiced in game-play and mini tournaments.
The Western volleyball clinic is an excellent opportunity for players of all skill levels to improve and receive instruction from experienced players and coaches, including Jim Sage and Dean Lowrie who coach Western's varsity men's and women's teams respectively.
Athletes attending should bring a lunch. The cost is $30 per athlete, with proceeds going toward the Mustangs varsity volleyball squads. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m.
