BUDAPEST, Hungary - Western Mustangs wrestler Brianne Barry (London, Ont.) placed 5th at the Junior World Wrestling Championships last week.  

The London Central graduate won three matches before losing to her semi-final match against Ukranian Yuliya Blahinya and Russia's Irina Ologonova, the eventual silver medallist.  

Barry is entering her sophomore season with Western and was named co-MVP for women's team in her rookie season in 2009-10 along with fellow freshman Larissa D'Alleva (Prince Albert, Ont.).
