LONDON, Ont. - The Western Mustangs and Rogers TV, Cable 13 have renewed their partnership to continue to bring OUA fans Mustangs games including playoffs and championships during the 2010-11 season.

The broadcast schedule will feature over 25 Mustangs regular season and playoff games. Catch an exciting and varied line-up of men’s and women’s sports: football, basketball and soccer (see broadcast schedule below). Additional games will also be added during the season.

"Our continuing strong relationship with Rogers TV provides us the opportunity to share our great success stories of our student-athletes with the community," says Therese Quigley, director of sports and recreation services at The University of Western Ontario. Beginning Wednesday Sept. 1st, Rogers TV will broadcast the Mustangs football home opener against the Laurier Golden Hawks. Former Mustangs centre Andy Rady, currently in law school at Western, will provide colour commentary and analysis, while "Coach" Kevin Gordon of Rogers TV will deliver the play-by-play.

Another schedule highlight includes a key basketball double-header against Windsor on Wednesday Jan. 5, 2011, beginning with the women's tip-off at 6 p.m.
