Daryl Waud listed as top-ranked CIS player available for 2015 CFL Draft

TORONTO – Western Mustangs defensive lineman Daryl Waud is listed as the top CIS player available for the 2015 CFL Canadian Draft as the CFL Scouting Bureau released its winter rankings earlier today. Waud moves up to number three in the latest list, jumping up from fifth on the September rankings.

The CFL's Scouting Bureau is comprised of CFL scouts, player personnel directors and general managers from the league's nine teams.

A three-time OUA all-star and two-time CIS all-Canadian, Waud has anchored the Mustangs defensive line for the past four seasons, racking up 81 total tackles, including 55 solo stops, along with seven sacks and two interceptions throughout his time in purple and white. This past season the Hamilton, Ont., native earned OUA first team all-star and first team all-Canadian honours after recording 14.5 tackles and three sacks in eight regular season contests.
