Adopt A Mustang - Curling

Adopt A Mustang - Curling
At Western, we are committed to providing our student-athletes with the tools necessary to achieve excellence in the classroom, in their sport, and in their chosen profession. As a part of this commitment, we are determined to ensure these deserving student-athletes are able to focus on their athletic and academic goals. With your help, we can ensure that today's student-athletes are able to succeed not only today, but also into the future as well.

"Thank you for your interest and ongoing support of curling at Western.

I’m excited and proud to once again lead an outstanding group of student-athletes, who are driven to achieve in their sport and in their studies.

In the upcoming season we aim to train hard and see both teams earn their way back to the OUA and CIS podiums. You can help us achieve these goals by supporting Western’s Adopt A Mustang program. On behalf of the team, thank you for considering the lasting value of this important investment."

Rory Munro
Head Coach - Curling

"Sport has played a significant role in my life. In reflecting back on my student-athlete experience at Western, I can appreciate the incredible influence these years had in shaping me as a person, as a professional and as a community citizen. Teamwork, leadership, fair play, winning and losing with dignity and humility are but a few of the lessons learned.

There are so many ways we give back to sport, to our community, to our alma mater. For me, giving someone the opportunity to experience and compete in interuniversity athletics through the Adopt A Mustang program is more than giving back – it is an investment in shaping citizens and leaders of tomorrow."

Thérèse Quigley (B.A. '75, B. Ed '77)
Director of Sports and Recreation Services
