Adopt A Mustang - Swimming
At Western, we are committed to providing our student-athletes with the tools necessary to achieve excellence in the classroom, in their sport, and in their chosen profession. As a part of this commitment, we are determined to ensure these deserving student-athletes are able to focus on their athletic and academic goals. With your help, we can ensure that today's student-athletes are able to succeed not only today, but also into the future as well.

``Thank you for your interest and ongoing support of swimming at Western.

I’m excited and proud to once again lead an outstanding group of student-athletes, who are driven to achieve in their sport and in their studies.

This past season was incredible! At the OUA championships held at Laurentian, the women’s team defended their OUA title bringing home the gold, and the men’s team captured the bronze medal. At the CIS finals, the women finished fifth overall, and the men placed ninth.

I’m also pleased to share that our assistant coach, Richard Hortness, and Western grad student, Joe Bartoch have both qualified to compete for Canada at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. I look forward to having them join me there.

In the upcoming season, the team aims to break more records and defend our titles.

You can help us achieve these goals by supporting Western’s Adopt A Mustang program.

Your gift directly impacts our student-athletes and goes to work immediately, providing the essential resources for us to support the ongoing financial needs associated with advanced training and competition.

On behalf of the team, thank you for considering the lasting value of this important investment.``

Head Coach
